WHAT IS BAGUA?

It is an octagonal energy map to determine which areas of your house relate to which area of your life.

n fengshui it is believed there are 9 areas of our life which need to be balanced for us to be happy. They are career, relationship, ancestors, health, wealth, benefactors, children, knowledge and fame. Paying attention to just one or two of these things alone can create an imbalance. Each area relates to a particular facet of your life, a number, an organ a planet etc. By placing the bagua template over the plan of one’s house, we can see how to improve the fengshui of the house.

The template is always laid in a way that the front door has to fall on the career benefactor or knowledge areas. It doesn’t matter which direction the front door faces since most of the energy comes through the front door. The bagua can be applied to any floor plan of the entire house or any room. Once you have applied the bagua you may find some portion either missing or extended. When bagua is applied to the upperfloor the top stair is regarded as the mouth of the chi.
